(Goodwin) Hansen, 75, Stanberry, died April 5, 2000, at Gentry County Memorial Hospital in Albany. Mrs. Hansen co-owned and operated the Hansen Pharmacy in Stanberry until retiring and closing the business in 1984. Born in Council Bluffs, IA., on Jan. 12, 1925, she resided in Council Bluffs until 1955 and spent the rest of her life in Stanberry. Mrs. Hansen was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson high school in Council Bluffs. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, where she was active in United Methodist Women. She also belonged to Mo. Alpha Delta Masters chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the Pine View Manor Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Mutual Improvement Club and was co-chairman of the Stanberry Centennial parade committee. She was also a former Girl Scout leader. On Oct. 25, 1945, she married Albert A. Hansen in Baltimore, MD. He survives at the home. Additional services(Sic)'survivors' include two daughters, Dianne VanVactor, Grant City and Alison Deary, Bay City, MI.; a brother, H. Eugene Goodwin, Dora, FL.; seven grandchildren and a great- grandchild. Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Goodwin and a grandchild. Funeral services were held on April 8 at Johnson Funeral Home in Stanberry with burial in High Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Gentry County Library in Stanberry.
