The Tri-County News; Gentry County Missouri, Friday, March 8,  2002:  Helen
Mae Heyde, 81, Stanberry, died  Feb.  27,  2002,  at  Pine  View  Manor  in
Stanberry.

Born Feb. 23, 1921, at Altamont; the daughter of Stanley  and  Mae  Heyser,
she married Geoffrey "Dutch" Heyde in 1943.

Mrs. Heyde served as secretary to the superintendent of  Stanberry  schools
for 26 years before retiring. She was  a  member  of  the  Stanberry  First
Christian Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Heyde was preceded in death by her husband in 1987;  her  parents  and
four brothers.

Survivors include a son, Gary Heyde, Burns, TN.; a daughter, Sherry  Heyde,
Topeka, KS.; a sister, Betty Jean Huffman, Altamont and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held March 2 at Johnson Funeral Home in Stanberry.
