Hughes Rites Tomorrow. Life-long Resident of this Area Died Tuesday at Her Home.' Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist church here for Mrs. Anna Lydia Hughes, age 83, a life-long resident of Stanberry. Mrs. Hughes died at 5 p.m. Tuesday at her home following a long illness. Last rites will be conducted by the Rev. Don Stanley, pastor of the First Baptist church here. Rev. J. Frederick Lawson, pastor of the Methodist church, will assist in the services. Burial will be in the High Ridge cemetery here. Mrs. Hughes is survived by a son, Alva Hughes of Stanberry; and four daughters, Mrs. Stella Carter, Mrs. Rena Folk and Mrs. Fred Ellenbaum, all of Stanberry, and Mrs. D. C. MacFarlane of Cheyenne, Wyo. Her husband and two sons preceded her in death. The body is now in state at the phillips mortuary here.
