     The Tri-County News, Friday, March 26, 1999: Martin Allen Jacoby, 95,
     Stanberry, died March 22, 1999, at a health-care center in Stanberry.

     Mr. Jacoby, a farmer, was born in Stanberry on Aug. 19, 1903, and was  a
     lifelong resident of Stanberry.

     He attended high school and was a member of the First Christian Church in
     Stanberry.

     On April 5, 1924, he married Ollie M. Webber in King City.  She died in
     1993.

     Survivors include two sons, Max, Eustis, FL., and Bill, Alamo, TX.; seven
     grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

     Services will be held March 27, at the First Christian Church in Stanberry
     with burial in High Ridge Cemetery.  Arrangements were handled by Johnson
     Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the Gentry County Hospice, Albany
     or First Christian Church, Stanberry.
