     Eugene Edward Jennings, 60, Kansas City, formerly of Stanberry, died June
     7, 2001, at a Kansas City Hospital.

     Born in St. Joseph on April 27, 1941, Mr. Jennings lived most of his life
     in the Kansas City Area.  He was a member of the Christian Faith.

     Mr. Jennings was preceded in death by his father, James Jennings.

     Survivors include his mother, Viola M. Jennings, Raytown; a brother,
     Everett Jennings, of Raytown and a half-brother, Russell, of Kansas City,
     KS.

     Graveside services and burial were held on June 9 at High Ridge cemetery in
     Stanberry.

     Arrangements were handled by Johnson Funeral Home, Stanberry.
