King, 83, Albany, formerly of Darlington, died Apr. 7, 1993 at Gentry County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 3, 1909 in Gentryville. A retired elementary school teacher, she was a member of Hunter Chapter No. 238 O.E.S., Stanberry, National Wildlife Federation, United Methodist Church, Missouri Conservationist and Society of Retired Teachers and Audobon Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald King; daughters, Anita Dawn Ward and Jacqueline Kay King; four brothers, Charles, Winford, Thor and John McMillen. Surviving are a granddaughter, Dene Parker, Lawrence, Kan.; one brother, James Ruhl McMillen, St. Joseph; three great-grandchildren and several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Friday, Apr. 9, 1993 at Roberson-Polley Funeral Home. Burial was at Darlington Cemetery, Darlington.
