All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Submitted by: Don Raymond The Stanberry Headlight, Gentry County, Missouri, Thursday, September 5, 1957: Mrs. Miller Dies In Kansas City: Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Stanberry Christian church for Mrs. Anna Miller, 86, who spent most of her life in this area. She was taken by death Monday afternoon in a Kansas City rest home, where she had been a patient several weeks. The services were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. O. Glenn Crosby, and burial was in the High Ridge cemetery, under the direction of the Phillips Mortuary. Survivors include two sons, John Miller, Union Star, and Clark Miller, Corpus Christi, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Dolah Macy, Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Julia Gage, Stanberry; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Miller, daughter of the late John and Marietta Wilson, was born Oct. 13, 1871, in Matton, IL. She and her husband, W. C. Miller, farmed near Stanberry for many years. He preceded her in death in 1950. Both were members of the Stanberry Christian church.
