The son of the late Rudolph and Rose (Fischer) Moldenhauer, he was born November 23, 1920, in Kulm, ND. On March 31, 1946, he married Fencine Nienhuis. She survives of the home in Albany. He was a retired minister of the Church of God Seventh Day Church, having served churches in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Kansas City, Stanberry, Harrisburg, OR.; Oklahoma City, OK.; Eureka, SD.; and Stockton, CA.; and was also an Evangelist to the Carribean and Virgin Islands, Israel and Guyana, South, America. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lily Smith; and five brothers, Reuben, Walter, John, Aaron and one in infancy. Survivors: a daughter, Darlene King, Albany; three sons, Jerry and Ken Moldenhauer, Denver, CO., and Ed Moldenhauer, Albany; two sisters, Leona Fischer, Watertown, SD., and Sylvia Hauswirth, Pacific Grove, CA.; two brothers, Leonard Moldenhauer, San Andreas, CA., and Calvin Moldenhauer, Pacific Grove, CA.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were August 29, 2001, under the direction of Roberson- Polley Chapel, Albany, with burial at High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.
