All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Submitted by: Don Raymond The Stanberry Headlight, Thursday, November 9, 1967: Services Held for Cleo Everett Neal: Final services were held last Saturday afternoon at the Brooks-Cochell Mortuary chapel in Albany for Cleo Everett Neal, 48, of Kansas City, who was taken by death last Wednesday at the Veterans' hospital in Kansas City. The rites were conducted by Elder Stanley Kauer and burial was in the High Ridge cemetery here. Mr. Neal is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Chase, Farden Grove, Calif., and Mrs. JoAnn Klinker and Miss Deanna Neal, both of Omaha; his father, Lloyd E. Neal, of Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Irene Groom, of Albany, and a brother, Lloyd J. Neal, of Kansas City. Mr. Neal, son of Lloyd E. Neal and the late Mrs. Minnie Walker Neal, was born Nov. 16, 1918, near Stanberry. In early life he lived at Stanberry, where he attended school. While still in his teens, he moved to Omaha. Later he moved to Kansas City, where he operated a radio and television business. He and the former Miss Regina Stecki were married on Apr. 25, 1940. He accepted Christ as his Savior and united with the Church of God (7th Day) while in his teens.
