     The Stanberry Headlight, Thursday, August 2, 1984: Lloyd Efton Neal, 90,
     died Friday morning at a health care center in Stanberry.

     Born in the Higginsville community in Gentry County, he was a retired
     farmer and barber of the area.  He was a member of the Church of God
     Seventh Day in Stanberry.

     Surviving are a daughter, Irene Groom, Albany; a son, Lloyd J. Neal, Lee's
     Summit, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

     Graveside services and burial were Sunday at the High Ridge Cemetery in
     Stanberry, under the direction of Quinley-Roberson-Polley Funeral Home in
     Albany.
