Noah of Kansas City: Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Frist Christian church here for Mrs. Sarah Lorene Noah, 44 years old, a former Stanberry resident. Mrs. Noah died last Wednesday at the St. Mary's hospital at Kansas City. She had been ill for about two weeks. Services were conducted by the Rev. Glenn Willson, pastor of the Island City Christian church. The Rev. Chas. R. Hagee, pastor of the local church, assisted at the ceremony. Burial was in the High Ridge cemetery. Sarah Lorene Noah, daughter of Thomas and Flora Cogdill and step-daughter of C. M. Cobb, was born Mar. 11, 1906, near Gallatin, and departed this life Feb. 21, 1951, at St. Mary's hospital in Kansas City. The Cogdill family moved to North Dakota when Lorene was a young girl. She was converted and joined the Rolling Green Christian church in North Dakota Aug. 20, 1918. The family later moved back to Missouri and settled near Stanberry. On Oct. 20, 1929, she was married to Roland C. Noah of Kansas City. Most of their married life was spent in Kansas City. Mrs. Noah is survived by her husband, Rowland Noah, of the home at Kansas City; her mother, Mrs. Flora Cogdill Cobb, of this city; and two brothers, Clarence Cogdill, Stanberry, and O. G. Cogdill, Live Oaks, Fla.
