The Tri-County News, Friday, September 1, 2000:
     Clara E. O'Neal, 82, St. Jospeh, formerly of Stanberry, died Aug. 23, 2000,
     at a St. Joseph hospital.

     Born in Stanberry on April 24, 1918, Miss O'Neal had lived there most of
     her life, until moving to St. Joseph in 1982.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary L. O'Neal; a
     brother, Willard O'Neal and two sisters, Lela Riddle and Pauline Mansil.

     Surviving is a niece, Marjorie Pettry, of St. Joseph.

     Graveside services and burial were held on Aug. 26 at High Ridge Cemetery
     in Stanberry.
