Parrish, 72, Ravenwood, died April 25, 2001, at a North Kansas City hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1928 in Gentry County and was a former resident of Stanberry. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Parrish was retired from the Mo. State Highway Department, where he worked as a crew leader and road grader. He was a member of the Alanthus Church of Christ, Alanthus Grove. On Oct. 30, 1952 he married Delores Ann Osborn. She survives at the home. Additional survivors include a son, Patrick Parrish, Stanberry; a daughter, Donna Adams, Grant City; a brother, Charlie Parrish, Stanberry and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy (Terry) Parrish and a son, Danny Parrish. Funeral services were held at the Alanthus Church of Christ in Alanthus Grove on April 28, under the direction of the Roberson-Polley Chapel in Stanberry. Burial was in High Ridge cemetery, Stanberry.
