The Tri-County News, Gentry County Missouri, Friday, January 24, 2005:
     Edna H. (Martin) Pratt, 94, Stanberry, died June 16, 2005, at a Savannah
     nursing home.

     She was born Sept. 28, 1910 on Empire Prairie, west of King City; the
     daughter of Thomas E. and Ethel (Pierce) Martin.

     On Aug. 10, 1945 she was united in marriage to Wm. Kenneth Pratt.  He
     preceded her in death on April 19, 2004.  She was also preceded in death by
     her parents; three sisters, Pearl Hathway, Ellen Martin and Mertle Gillett;
     and a great-granddaughter, Victoria Rose Summa.

     Survivors include a son, Milton Pratt and a daughter, Rita Wright, both of
     Stanberry; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

     Mrs. Pratt was a member of the First Christian Church at Stanberry, where
     she taught Sunday School.  She was also a member of Hunter Chapter #238,
     Order of the Eastern Star, at Stanberry.

     Funeral services were held June 18 at the First Christian Church in
     Stanberry.  Burial was in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.  Memorial
     contributions may be given to Hunter Chapter #238, Order of the Eastern
     Star.
