All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Submitted by: Don Raymond The Tri-County News, Gentry County Missouri, Friday, April 23, 2004: William Kenneth Pratt, 81, Stanberry, died April 19, 2004, at Pine View Manor in Stanberry. Born July 5, 1922, in Gentry County, he was the son of Nolan and Helen (Boner) Pratt. Mr. Pratt was a World War II Army veteran. He worked as a bulldozer operator. He was a member and elder of the Stanberry First Christian Church; a member of Hunter Chapter #238 Order of the Eastern Star; Masonic Lodge #109, A.F.&A.M. and Raymond Sager American Legion Post #260, all of Stanberry. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene Pratt and a great- granddaughter, Victoria Rose Summa. On Aug. 10, 1945, he was united in marriage to Edna Martin. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include a son, Milton Pratt, Stanberry; a daughter, Rita Wright, Stanberry; brother, George Pratt, Stanberry; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three nephews. Funeral services were held on April 22 at the First Christian Church, Stanberry. Burial was in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, in care of Roberson-Polley Chapel, P.O. Box 153, Stanberry, MO. 64489, who were in charge of arrangements.
