Redden Ronald J. Redden, 71, Salina, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Salina Regional Health Center. Mr. Redden was born Oct. 18, 1928, at Grant City, Mo., and was a resident of Salina since 1957, moving from Lawrence. He worked on the Kansas Turnpike, owned and operated Weber's Drive-In, Salina, for nine years and was an inspector for the Kansas Department of Agriculture for 20 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Foursquare Church, Salina, American Association of Retired Persons and Kansas Public Employee Association. Survivors include his wife, Shirley of the home; two sons, David of Salina and Ron W. of Manhattan; three daughters, Rhonda Betts and Karen Greiser, both of Salina and Brenda Scott of Topeka; five sisters, Verna Angle of Stanberry, Mo., Ruth Riggle of Mesa, Ariz., Shirley Spencer of Prairie Village, Kathryn Ballard of Ashland, Mo., and Bonnie Hullinger of Bethany, Mo.; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Foursquare Church, 1325 E. Cloud, the Rev. Loren Holtberg officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
