The requiem mass was conducted by the rev. Father Roger Blais and interment was in High Ridge cemetery under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Frank L. Rainey, of the home in Stanberry; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Johnson, Denver, Colo., and four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Sorrell, of Council Bluffs, Ia.; Mrs. Beatrice Martin, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Alice Robertson and Mrs. Ruth Burbee, both of Niangua, Mo. Mrs. Rainey, daughter of the late Frederick H. and Gertrude G. Hays Roettger, was born April 1, 1897, in Council Bluffs, Ia. She and Mr. Rainey were united in marriage November 28, 1917, in Des Moines, Ia. Most of their married life was spent in this community, where both have many, many friends. Mrs. Rainey was an active member of St. Peter's Catholic church.
