All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Submitted by: Don Raymond The Stanberry Headlight, Gentry County Missouri, Thursday, November 24, 1955: Final Rites for Mrs. Otha Reece: Final services were held last Friday afternoon in the Stanberry Christian church for Mrs. Otha J. Reece of Kansas City, a former Stanberry resident, who was taken by death at the General hospital in Kansas City early last Wednesday morning. The rites were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. O. Glenn Crosby, and burial was in the High Ridge cemetery, under the direction of the Phillips Mortuary, Stanberry. Mrs. Reece had been in Ill health since June, 1954, and her condition was considered serious for 10 days preceding her death. A native Stanberrian, Mis Isadore Keller was born Feb. 19, 1892. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Keller. She and Mr. Reece, who survives, were married in Stanberry on Dec. 25, 1911. Eleven Children: Other survivors include 11 children, Mrs. Ben Boley and Mrs. Emory Spangler, both of Stanberry; Willis H. Reece, St. Joseph; Odell E. Reece, Virgil M. Reece, M. Clayton Reece and Vernon Reece, all of Kansas City; Mrs. Wilton Danner, McFall; Martin Reece, Los Angeles, Calif.; Robert Reece, with the Armed forces in Atlanta, Ga.; and Mrs. Herbert Boley, Kansas City; two brothers, H. S. Keller, Jr., Kansas City, and George Keller, Santa Rosa, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. C. S. Plomberg, Kansas City, and Mrs. E. M. Clark, Huntington Beach, Calif.; and 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
