All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Submitted by: Don Raymond The Stanberry Headlight; Thursday, January 31, 1985: William Owen Sager age 61 years, three months and 11 days passed away Saturday, January 25, 1985 at the Veterans Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was a veteran of the Untied States Army, serving his country in World War II. He was born October 14, 1923 at Omaha, Neb. He was a life long resident of Stanberry, where he lived on the farm. Bill was retired from the Wabash Railroad. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Edna J. McCrary Sager in June of 1980. His survivors include his father, Artie Sager; one sister, Janice Barber and one brother, Larry Sager, all of Stanberry, Missouri. Funeral services were held Monday, January 28, 1985 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Stanberry. The Rev. Dick Lionberger officiating. Burial High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry, MO.
