The Albany Ledger, Wednesday, December 1, 2004:
     Archie Salsbury, 89 of Stanberry passed away Thursday, November 25, 2004 at
     a Stanberry nursing home.

     Archie was born June 1, 1915 in Elbert County, Colorado.  He was the son of
     Albert A. and Nora Alice (Orcutt) Salsbury.  They receded him in death.  He
     was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

     Archie was a farmer before retiring.  On July 18, 1941 he was united in
     marriage to Ruth McCarthy.  She survives of the home.  He is also survived
     by a sister, Goldie Harman, Savannah, MO.; and several Nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services were held Monday, November 29 at the Roberson-Polley
     Chapel, Stanberry.  Burial in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.
