Alvin Stabe, 71, Grant City, died May 19, 1994, at his home. A graduate of Grant City High School and Chillicothe Business College, he was a naval aviator in World War II. He was a retired air traffic controller and lived in Grant City since his retirement in 1987. Mr. Stabe was a member of the Grant City Baptist Church. He married the former Uva Murrell Coleman in Olathe, Kan., Oct 20, 1945. She survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Lou Robinson, Conception Jct., and Connie Sue Carroll, Maryville; two sisters, Cora Bowlin, Kansas City, and Linda Stabe, Long Beach Calif.; four grandchildren and one step-grandchild. Services were May 22 at the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, Grant City, with burial in Fletchall Cemetery, Grant City.
