The Albany Ledger, Gentry County Missouri, Wednesday, May 29, 2002:
Clifford E. Summa, 84, Stanberry, died May 26, 2002, at Pineview Nursing Home.
     The son of the late Elmer and Dewey (Ray) Summa, he was born September 30,
     1917 in Gentry.

     A retired farmer, he had lived all his life in Gentry County, had attended
     school in Gentry, and was a graduate of Albany High School, was a member of
     the First Baptist Church, Stanberry and New Friendship Cemetery Board for
     over 60 years.

     In 1969 he married Bula Patterson VanCleave.  She survives of the home.

     Additional survivors: two step-sons, Tom VanCleave, Stanberry, and Jim Lux,
     St. Joseph; one step-daughter, Joyce Belcher, St. Joseph; six
     grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, and
     numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     Funeral services were May 29, 2002, under the direction of Roberson-Polley
     Chapel, Stanberry, with burial at High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.
