The Tri-County News, May 6, 1994:

Carl Freeman Swope, 71, McFall, died Monday, Apr. 25, 1994, at Gentry County 
Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Swope, a farm laborer, was born in Pattonsburg and lived in that area.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church at McFall.

He married Leola Loney in 1965, she survives.

Mr. Swope was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford, and a sister, Betty 
Swope.

Addition survivors include three step-daughters, Judy Loney, Edmond, Okla.; 
Pauline Cain, McFall; and Betty Fast, Shawnee, Okla.; three stepsons, David, 
St. Joseph; Thomas, Lock Springs; and William, McFall; 15 step grandchildren.

Graveside service and burial were Apr. 28 at McFall Cemetery.
