Cooper of Clyde, MO., and Miss Ruth E. Litten of this place, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Litten, Rev. J. R. Leonard of Albany officiating. Miss Neoma Christian played the beautiful wedding march as the bridal parties took their places. Miss Lillian Cook of Stanberry, was bridesmaid and Mr. Ross Coffey of Parnell, was best man. Immediately after the ceremony, the guests were invited into the dining room to partake of the bountiful repast prepared by Mrs. Litten. The groom in the son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Cooper and is a bright and prosperous young man. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Litten and is highly esteemed by those who know her. The bride and groom left that evening for St. Joseph for their honeymoon. They will make their home with his parents. Those present and presents received were: J. B.
