Biographical Sketch of S. I. Haseltine, Greene County, Missouri, Campbell Township >From "History of Greene County, Missouri," St. Louis: Western Historical Company, 1883. ********************************************************************** Mr. Haseltine is the oldest son of Ira S. Haseltine, Greenback congress man from this district in the Forty-seventh Congress. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, May 1st, 1849. He was educated in the high school of his city, and at the Wisconsin State University. In August, 1871, he came to Missouri with his father, and has had charge of the railway station at Dorchester since October 1st of that year. He deals in grain and fruit, shipping over the 'Frisco road. He was married Novem- ber 23rd, 1871, to Miss Annie L. Miller, a native of London, Canada. Their union has been blest with three children, viz.: Edwin I., Alfred E., and Charlotte A.
