Info from "Springfield News-Leader", November 15, 2002 "The unclaimed remains held in concrete urns share a 50-foot plot at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. Until space ran out, the ashes had been kept in metal storage cabinets at Springfield Mortuary Services. The burial plot, valued at $50,000 was donated by Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service. About 24 people attended the burial service."
