Will Be Buried In Casket And Clothing He Selected After an illness of several months, Thomas Yeakley, a wealthy farmer residing on the Carthage road, 12 miles west of Springfield, died Monday night. He was 84 years old. Death was not unexpected and all members of the immediate family were at his bedside. He is survived by a widow and two children. Mr. Yeakley realized some time ago that he had only a short time to live and September 4 he visited Springfield and purchased the clothing in which he wished to be buried. He also selected a casket from a Springfield undertaker. Funeral services will be conducted this morning at the Yeakley cha(p)el, two miles west of the family home and burial will be in the Yeakley cemetery. the Rev. J. B. Ellis, will conduct the services.
