He was born and lived all his life in Greene county, and was a member of Yeakley Chapel Methodist church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jane Yeakley; five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Shook, Mrs. Frank Coggins, Mrs. Robert Mansfield and Mrs. Jake Frame, all of near Bois D'Arc, and Mrs Herman Ricketts of Brighton; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Drum of Long Beach, Calif., and a foster brother, George Hayes of Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Yeakley Chapel Methodist church; 12 miles west of Springfield under direction of Redfearn and Hoyle. The Rev. Hidy will officiate.
