Tickridge Cemetery, Leesville Township, Henry County, Missouri aka: Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Location: T40, R24, S2 - 591 SE 1151 Rd, Tightwad Landowner: US Government Indexed by: Mar 2 1976 by unknown; mapped by Orren Molder; indexed Mar 17 1996 by Linda M. Everhart with guides Linda and Lisa Faukenberry Earliest Known Burial: 1901 Latest Known Burial: 1959 Directions: Three miles south of Tightwad on SE 1151. Near end of road, where it bends left and heads down to Truman Lake, an old lane leads off to the right into the woods. Follow lane a short distance, staying to right. History: In 1895 the land where this cemetery is located was owned by the state and a school house was located just south of it. D. L. Molder and Overton Wills had property to the south and southwest. To the north was the Parks settlement, consisting of the Parks and Logan families, along with the Park's Chapel Church and cemetery. About 1/2 mile southwest was a saw and grist mill on the Grand River. In 1910 nearly all of section 2, and most of the land south to the river, was owned by John W. Penland. Some neighboring lands were owned by James B. Molder, S. P. Molder and R. L. Molder. It is not known when this cemetery was established or how many other unmarked graves may exist. Condition: Overgrown and in ruins with no fencing or protection. A large tree has fallen to one side of the cemetery. I do not expect to find any stones remaining intact in the future if they are allowed to remain on Corps grounds. ==================================================================== HOUK, Alma - b: Dec 26 1906 - d: Jul 24 1910 - dau of Harry & May WILLS HOUK - INSCRIP: HOUK, Unknown - Dec 26 1906 - Jul 24 1910 - dau of Harry & May HOUK, Vivian Yvonne - b: Dec 2 1936 - d: Jan 7 1937 - dau of Edgar Riley & Mary E.
