BALDRIDGE, Arthur J. 1904 - 1991

Arthur J. Baldridge, 87, 192 Third Ave., Marion, Iowa, died Wednesday morning, 
November 6, 1991, in St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness. Services were 
held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 8, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with 
Monsignor Edmund Becker officiating. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park 
Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to St. Luke's Hospital for 
diabetes. Survivors include his wife, Marie, and two daughters, Mary Jane Beachel 
and Thelma Arnold, both of Marion; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 
his son-in-law, Donald Arnold of Marion. He was preceded in death by a son, Earl 
Baldridge, and a daughter, Barbara Jean Hayes. He was born September 13, 1904, 
in Lehigh. On June 15, 1935, he was married to Mettie Marie Edwards, daughter of 
Jake and Julia Edwards, at the Baptist Church in Warsaw. He was a lineman for 
the Linn County Rural Electric Corp. for 25 years, retiring in 1969. He was an 
Army veteran.
