BARROW OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== BARROW, Ireby L. "Rip" 1909 - 1996 I. L. (Rip) Barrow, 87, Calhoun, died Saturday morning, November 23, 1996, at the Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton. He was born April 14, 1909, in Dresden, Mo., the son of Ireby Decalvus Barrow and Anna May (Bentley) Barrow. On April 27, 1935, in Calhoun, he married Beulah Fern Dalton who preceded him in death on April 10, 1975. Mr. Barrow was a custodian for the Calhoun High School for more than 40 years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Calhoun, the Calhoun Fire Department, the Masonic Lodge #552 of Calhoun and the IOOF Calhoun Lodge. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Frances Barrow, Calhoun; a grandson and his wife, Terry and Mary Barrow, Clinton; one brother, Robert Barrow of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Lora Standifer of Lexington, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 26, 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Calhoun, with Rev. Ray Fagg officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery. Friends may call Monday at the Hadley Funeral Home, 7-8 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Calhoun Baptist Church in care of the Hadley Funeral Home. BARROW, Nola 1898 - 1995 Nola Barrow, 97, Green Ridge, died Saturday, February 25, 1995, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born February 8, 1898, in Sedalia, the daughter of Noel Barrow and Ruth Poindexter Barrow. She worked in the cafeteria at Missouri Valley College in Marshall for 18 years before her retirement. She was a member of the Green Ridge Presbyterian Church and the former Green Ridge Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include two nieces, Arvella Elliott, Sedalia, and Lorraine Thompson, Bedford, Texas; two great-great-nephews and one great- great-niece. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 28, 1:30 p.m. at the Green Ridge Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Jeff Cochran officiating. Burial will be in the Green Ridge Cemetery.
