BAUER OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== BAUER, L. Marie JACKSON 1923 - 2000 Kansas City Star, June 13 2000 - L. Marie (Jackson) Bauer, 77, of Windsor, MO, died Sunday evening, June 11, 2000, at Fern's Care Center, Windsor. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Windsor, with Father Tom Hermes officiating; burial in Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, at a later date. A rosary service will be 6:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, where the family will receive friends 7-8 p.m.Mrs. Bauer was born June 2, 1923, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of John Martin Jackson and Junie Bell (Schiller) Jackson. On December 5, 1942, in Harrisonville, MO, she married Floyd Rhine-Heardt Bauer; he preceded her in death on April 16, 1994. Marie had worked as a keypunch and computer operator for the United States Department of Agriculture in Kansas City, MO, for 20 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Windsor, the Altar Society of the church, and the Warrensburg Area Amateur Radio Club, Inc. She is survived by her father, John M. Jackson, Wheatland, MO; five sons, Floyd R. Bauer Jr., Windsor, MO, Martin Jackson Bauer, Houston, TX, Harley E. Bauer, Grand Junction, CO, Brent U. Bauer, Independence, MO, Charles R. Bauer, Windsor, MO; daughter, Verl Marie Green, Houston, TX; 16 grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; five brothers, Lloyd Jackson, Amsterdam, MO, Robert Jackson,Wheatland, MO, Deanie Jackson, Amsterdam, MO, Eddie Lee Jackson, Deepwater, MO, Clyde Jackson, Turner, KS; three sisters, Bernice Tolley, Clinton, MO, Dorothy Chaney, Wheatland, MO, Betty Ruth Jackson, Wheatland, MO.
