BEARD, George Thomas Jr. n/a - 1993

George Thomas Beard, Jr., 94, Kansas City, Kansas, died Tuesday, January 26, 
1993, at Bethany Medical Center.  Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Maple 
Hill Chapel.  The family suggests memorials go to the American Cancer Society.  
Mr. Beard was born in Clinton and moved to the Kansas City area in 1930.  He was 
a conductor for the Santa Fe Railway until he retired.  He was a member of the 
Masons and Scottish Rite bodies.  He was an Army veteran of World War I.  
Survivors include a sister, Fern Cox, Chenoa, Ill.
