BENBOW OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== BENBOW, John C. 1963 - 1991 John C. Benbow, 27, died suddenly as a result of an accident at Monegaw Springs on September 28, 1991. He was born October 25, 1963, in Appleton City to J. D. and Charlene Benbow. He attended the Appleton City schools, graduating in 1982. He received a B. S. degree from Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg in 1986. He worked as a carpenter in the Appleton City, Butler and Rockville areas. For many years he was associated with Don Nichols. He received Christ at a young age at the First Baptist Church in Appleton City. He loved his family and was very close to all. He enjoyed hunting, golf, his friends, his family and his two dogs. He leaves his parents, J. D. and Charlene Benbow of Appleton City; his sister, Donna Frasher and husband, Tom, of Blue Springs; his maternal grandmother, Goldie Myers, uncle Nelson and aunt Lois Myers of Butler; his uncle Gene and aunt Marilyn, of Peculiar; one niece, Laura; cousins and many other relatives and friends. His paternal grandparents, Admiral and Ruby Benbow, and maternal grandfather, Charles Myers, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 1, 1991, at 10:30 a.m. at the Eckhoff-Hill Funeral Home with Rev. James Walker officiating. Music was provided by Idavee Clairborne and Chris Heiserman. Pallbearers were Buddy Butler, Dale Bock, Tim Rapp, Don Nichols, John Howard Heiserman, Don Parr, Brian Johannigmeier and Jim Herbst.
