BENKOVICH, Mildred 1921 - 1999

Kansas City Star, Nov 1 1999 - Mildred Benkovich, 78, Independence, MO, passed 
away Saturday, October 30, 1999, at Independence Regional Health Center. Mass 
of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, at Nativity of Mary 
Catholic Church, Independence; entombment in Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Friends 
may call 10 a.m. until time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials 
are suggested to the church in memory of Mrs. Benkovich. Mrs. Benkovich was born 
September 18, 1921, in Deepwater, MO, and had lived most of her life in 
Independence. She was a payroll clerk and bookkeeper for several companies 
before her retirement as a secretary with Oscar Lewis Construction. She was a 
member of the Nativity of Mary Church and its Altar Society. Surviving are her 
husband of 52 years, John E. Benkovich, of the home; a son, John E. Benkovich Jr., 
Overland Park, KS; a daughter, Francine Davis and her husband, Leon, Blue Springs, 
MO; four grandchildren, Breck and Dustin Benkovich, Aaron and Jeff Davis; nieces,
