BRAUN, Edna Irene CALDWELL 1915 - 1999

Kansas City Star, Dec 9 1999 - Edna Irene Braun, age 84, Clinton, MO, died 
Wednesday morning, December 8, 1999, at Westwood Nursing Center. She was 
born June 5, 1915, south of Clinton, the daughter of Forrest and Nora Prouse 
Caldwell. She was united in marriage to John W. Braun on December 12, 1938; to 
this union one daughter was born. John and Edna lived south of Clinton for several 
years before moving to a farm in Leeton in 1949. They moved back to Clinton in 
1978. She was a Presbyterian. Preceding her in death were her daughter, Thelma 
Dilks, a brother, Kenneth Caldwell, and a sister, Pauline Hammon. Survivors 
include her husband, John, of the home; son-in-law, Jake Dilks, Overland Park, KS; 
grandsons, Ronnie Dilks and Tony Dilks and his wife, Karen; great-granddaughter, 
Kimbra Dilks; also numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Braun will lie in state 2-8 
p.m. Thursday, December 9, 1999, at Consalus Chapel, Clinton, where funeral 
services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday; burial in Englewood Cemetery. (Arrangements:
