BRUCE OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== BRUCE, Hazel McFERRIN n/a - 1939 Nov 30 1939 - Mrs. Hazel (McFerrin) Bruce Killed by Car - Mrs. Hazel Bruce of Kansas City, a daughter of Mrs. J. A. McFerrin of this place, died at the General Hospital in Kansas City at 7:55 o'clock last Thursday night, from injuries suffered' when hit by a motor ear earlier in the evening. The accident occurred at Sixty-third and Harrison streets as Mrs. Bruce was walking diagonally across Sixty-third street. She suffered multiple basal skull fractures, a fractured left hip and lacerations of the head and right leg. Mrs. Bruce, whose home is at 3119 Charlotte street, is survived by her husband, Wm. L. Bruce, and six children, four sons and two daughters, her mother, Mrs. J. A. J, McFerrin, two sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Earl Counts of Quick City. Mo.; Mrs. H. E. Hodgins and Jim McFerrin of Kansas City. Mo,: and R. E. McFerrin of Blairstown.
