CHANEY, Ervin Henry 1915 - 1984

Ervin Henry Chaney was born June 5, 1915, at Tondo, MO, in Polk County and died 
August 25, 1984. In 1923, his family moved to Deepwater and he lived there the 
remainder of his life. He graduated from Deepwater High School in 1934 and from 
Sedalia Business College in 1935. He was united in marriage on September 9, 
1939, to Julia Frala. To this marriage two children were born. Mr. Chaney was 
employed as business manager of Booth Hatchery from 1938 to 1963. He was 
later employed by the Clinton Daily Democrat, as advertising manager and then as 
business manager from 1963 to his retirement in April of 1984. Funeral services 
were held at the deepwater Christian Church and burial was in the Montrose 
Cemetery.
