CHEDESTER OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== CHEDESTER, James L. n/a - 1962 James L. Chedester, 37, Bridgeton, MO, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Tubbesing of the Quarles community, died Sunday, May 27, 1962, in a St. Louis hospital. He had been in declining health the past few years but had remained with his work until last March 1. Born in Kansas City he had lived there 21 years before moving to Pattonville, MO, where he had taught and had been principal until becoming ill. He had received his education at Central High School, Kansas City, and was a graduate of Central Missouri State College at Warrensburg. He was a veteran of World War II and had been a frequent visitor in Henry County. Besides his wife, the former Frances Darlene Tubbesing, he leaves three sons, Mark, seven years old and twin boys, Stephen and Michael, who were a month old on May 26; a sister, Mrs. Nan Krueger, Leawood, KS; a brother, Jerry V. Chedster, Modesto, CA; a number of other relatives and many friends.
