CHICK OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== CHICK, William L. "Bill" 1914 - 1987 William L. Bill Chick of 310 Holmes Dr, Windsor, MO, died July 17, 1987 at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City. He was 73. He was born July 19, 1914, at Kansas City, son of Isaac and Fay Dean Chick. He worked for Civil Service and was a housing officer at Whiteman Air Force Base. He retired in 1975. He is survived by his wife, of the home; one son, Lynn Chick of Independence; a daughter, Willa White of Closter, NJ; two grandsons, a brother, Virgil Vestal of Moberly, nieces and nephews. He was an Army veteran of World War II. On April 28, 1939, he married Linnie Edna Combs. She died April 16, 1976. On January 10, 1986, he married Marilyn Johnson, who survives at the home in Windsor. Honorary pallbearers were Wylie Gray, Carter Oakes, Miller Wilson. Pallbearers were John Kopp, Norman Humphrey, Lloyd Merryfield, Quintin Schroder, Ben Mangina and Ben Tanner.
