CLEEK OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== CLEEK, Mildred Pearl PARKER 1903 - 1994 Mildred Pearl Cleek, 91, Greeley, Colorado, formerly of Eaton, Colorado, died November 15, 1994, at the Bonell Good Samaritan Center. She was born October 7, 1903, in Windsor to Abraham Lincoln Parker and Anna Rohning Parker. She was a homemaker and worked as a housekeeper at U.N.C. for 11 years. She was married to Tony George Cleek on December 8, 1925, in Clinton. He died on October 3, 1974. They moved to Eaton, Colorado from Missouri in 1943. She was a member of the Eaton Senior Citizens and Eaton United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Harley Eugene Cleek of Eaton, Colordao, Paul Roger Cleek of Leawood, Kansas, and Glenn Calvin Cleek of Arvada, Colordao; one sister, Lorena Powers of Clinton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony George Cleek; a daughter, Eileen Lavon Casy, and a brother, Clyde Parker. Graveside services were held at the Eaton Cemetery Saturday, November 19, at 11 a.m. CLEEK, Plumah Stella HOOD 1898 - 1994 Mrs. Plumah H. Cleek, 95, Clinton, died Wednesday, October 26, 1994, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. - Plumah Stella Hood, daughter of John Wesley Hood and Delilah Yandall Hood, was born October 28, 1898, at the farm home of her grandparents, Dr. James W. Yandall and Minerva Wade Yandall in the Shawnee Mound community. She grew up there and graduated from Shawnee Mound Grade School. Her parents moved to Clinton where she attended and graduated from the Clinton High school and Teachers Training. She taught in the Henry County schools and her last term was at Lima, south of Clinton. She was married to Charles Cleek on March 31, 1920. To this union one child was born, Frances Aileen. They farmed in the Deer Creek community neaer Clinton for a number of years. They later moved to Clinton where they were co-owners of the Clinton Cleaners and to Kansas City in 1952, where Charles worked for Rothchild's and she was a bookkeeper. In 1969 Charles and Plumah moved to Boonville where they operated a dry cleaning business with their son-in-law for 14 years, returning to Clinton in 1982. She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Frances Aileen and David Jacob Petty, and a host of nieces and nephews to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on January 31, 1982; her parents; one sister, Georgia Mae Ford; two brothers, Charles and Sherman Hood. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday, October 29, at the Consalus Chapel, Clinton. Rev. William Ritchie officiated. Don Eaton sang "The Way of the Cross Leads Home" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", accompanied by Scott Brooks, organist.
