CLEVENGER, Helen Alice McQUITTY 1907 - 1998

Helen Alice Clevenger, 90, Clinton, died Friday, February 6, 1998, at Golden 
Valley Memorial Hospital. Services will be February 9, at the Consalus Funeral 
Home with burial in the Carrsville Cemetery. Mrs. Clevenger was born November 
4, 1907, in Blairstown, to William T. and Lucy Hazard McQuitty. She was a 
graduate of Lindenwood College in St. Charles. She was a school teacher for the 
St. Charles School District for many years. She married Homer Clevenger in 
Warrensburg on June 22, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1978. She is survived 
by one son, Thomas B. Clevenger, Topeka, KS; two brothers, Howard McQuitty, 
Holden, and Wray McQuitty, San Diego, CA; and two sisters, Margaret Tillman, 
Clinton, and Catherine McArthur, Independence.
