DANIELS, Jurand Blunk 1933 - 1992

Jurand Blunk Daniels was born in Galena in Stone County April 28, 1933, the son 
of Boyd Daniels and Ora Blunk Daniels. He passed away June 26, 1992, at the age 
of 59. He became a Christian at the age of nine in Galena. He served in the United 
States Air Force for 22 years from 1952 to 1974. He was united in marriage to 
Betty Crosby June 5, 1955, and to this union three children were born. After his 
career in the Air Force, he was employed as a truck driver. For many years he 
drove for Clearfield Cheese Company and was currently employed with Payless 
Cashways in Sedalia. He had received numerous safe-driving awards from both 
employers. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Branson and a member of 
the Air Force Sergeants Association. He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the 
home; one daughter, Lana Jane Stone of Memphis, Tennessee; two sons, Randy 
Wayne Daniels of Gun City, and Boyd Lee Daniels of Seattle, Washington; five 
grandsons and one granddaughter and a sister, Sandra Jones of Springfield. 
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 1992, at Englewood Cemetery, 
Clinton. Dr. Ronald Chastine officiated.
