DEMPSEY, Ferrell R. 1909 - 1994

Ferrell R. Dempsey, 84, Centerview, died Friday, July 1, 1994, at John Knox Care 
Center in Lee's Summit. He was born Sept 17, 1909, in Nowata, OK, the son of 
Claud H. Dempsey and Minnie Ann Pogue Dempsey. On June 13, 1935, he married 
Irene Keltner in Osceola, and she survives at the home. Mr. Dempsey was a 
lifelong farmer. Survivors in addition to his wife, Irene, are six sons, Harvey, 
Belton; Dennis, Calhoun; Curtis, Kingsville; Claud, Lincoln; Douglas, Pleasant Hill; 
and Lynn, Centerview; three daughters, Carol Homfeld, Higginsville and Dorothy 
Street and Judy Stephens, both of Centerview; and four brothers. Funeral services 
were July 4, 1994 with burial in the Centerview Cemetery.
