EHART, Rita Irene CRAIG 1902 - 1998

Rita Irene Ehart, 95, Adrian, MO., died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998 at the Bates County 
Memorial Hospital in Butler. Services were held Aug. 8 at the Atkinson Chapel in 
Adrian with the Rev. Vernon West of the Altona Baptist Church officiating. 
Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Mo., under the direction of the 
Atkinson Funeral Home. Mrs. Ehart was born Dec. 16, 1902 near Foster in the 
Nyhart community, Bates County, MO., to John B. and Leona (Trainer) Craig. She 
married Linley Hank Ehart who preceded her in death in July, 1961. She was very 
active in youth service as a member of the Meyer Boulevard Methodist Church in 
Kansas City, MO. She worked for Klines Department Store in Kansas City before 
retiring in 1970 and moving to Adrian. She was preceded in death by a sister, 
Kathryn Berry and two brothers, Herbert and Thomas Craig. She leaves two 
sisters-in-law, Hazel Craig, Adrian, and Thelma Craig, Butler; a host of nieces 
and nephews.
