Erhart is Buried Sunday - Funeral services for Frank A. Erhart, 70 years old, were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian church conducted by the Rev. O. B. Randall, assisted by the Rev. Ray Wigginton. Frank Albert Watkins Erhart son of Albert and Elizabeth Erhart was born January 30, 1877 at the farm home of his parents five miles north of Montrose. On August 7, he became ill in the night and suddenly passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. Oden O. Blew, with whom he had made his home for the past twelve years, when a serious operation made it necessary for him to leave his home in the Mt. Hope community. He was the youngest of nine children, all of whom preceded him in death except his brother Gus, of Appleton City, and his sister Cora, of Montrose. The father of the family passed away when Frank was four years old. When the others had married and had their homes he remained with his mother giving her the greatest of care and devotion until her death twenty years ago. He attended Mt. Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church during its existence, later affiliating with the Montrose church. Among Mr. Erhart's greatest pleasures were contributing to his church, the Mt. Hope Community Club, the Snodgrass Union Cemetery, and helping his family and friends. Besides the brother and sister who survive him, his nieces and nephews who were especially fond of him and who count among their treasured memories going to grandmothers and Uncle Frank's. In later years the great nieces and nephews were a source of interest and pleasure to him, and they also will miss his love and affection. Mrs. Harry Turner accompanied Mrs. Claud Lampkin, Mrs. Claud Stephenson, Mrs. Edward Kupka, Dr. E. W. Baggerly and Charles T. Campbell when they sang, "The Old Rugged Cross", "Rock of Ages" and "Some Time We Will Understand". Acting pallbearers were Collin Lindimore, Claud Stephenson, Roy Saddler, Wilbur Richards, Lee Browning and Barney Johnston. Honorary pallbearers were Alva M. Winbigler, Rylan Lampkin, V. Kupka and E.
