GARWOOD, Alice Jane 1847 - 1908

Mrs. Alice Jane Garwood, born May 24, 1847; died at her home in Henry county, 
Mo., Dec. 26 1908, at the family home where she was born. Funeral at 2:00 o'clock 
Sunday afternoon, Dec. 27, at Mt. Olivet church. Services conducted by the writer. 
She united with Mt. Olivet Baptist church Oct., 1905, and until death lived a 
beautiful Christian life. She has gone, and we mourn sadly her departure; but the 
memory of her self sacrificing spirit, her pure, noble Christian character, her 
unceasing patience during the long period of her affliction will ever remain as an 
inspiration to a life of grand and holy deeds. To the broken hearted husband, to 
the brother, relatives and many friends we extend our sincere sympathy. - T. P.
