GATZEMEYER, Josephine KELLNER KUNZ 1899 - 1993

Mrs. Josephine Gatzemeyer, 94, Hermann, Mo., died Feb. 20, 1993 at a Hermann 
hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1899 at Berger, Mo., daughter of Helen Reinhardt 
and August Kellner. She married Edwin Kunz on November 14, 1923, and he 
preceded her in death on November 18, 1970. She then married Julius J. 
Gatzemeyer, November 11, 1972. He died March 8, 1979. She is survived by four 
stepsons, Earl Gatzemeyer, Clinton, Vernon Gatzemeyer, Bloomsdale, Maurice 
Gatzemeyer, Clinton, and Julius Gatzemeyer, New Haven; sister, Betty Willimann, 
Berger; sister-in-law, Gertrude Kellner, St. Louis; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, LeRoy and Elmer 
Kellner. She was a member of St. George Church, Hermann, Catholic Knights of 
America, Berger Legion Auxiliary, St. Anns Sodality. Funeral services were at 10 
a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 1993 at St. George Church, Hermann, with Father 
Ambrose German officiating. Burial was in St. George Cemetery. Toedtmann-
Grosse Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
