GAUPP OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== GAUPP, Daniel 1865 - 1933 Daniel Gaupp died at his home 1 3/4 miles east of Quarles, December 14, 1933. He had been ill for several weeks and death came as a release from the suffering caused by a paralytic stroke. Daniel Gaupp was born March 4, 1865, in Belleville, IL. When a small lad, only five or six years old, he came with his parents to Henry County and for several years they lived on a farm south of Clinton which is now owned by W. A. Martin. Mr. Gaupp was a member of the Methodist Church at Quarles and was a faithful attendant. He never married, but was content to live on his farm near Quarles with only a hired man to assist in the tilling of his 120 acre farm. He is survived by one brother, Thomas Gaupp, North Third St., Clinton. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Wilkinson Funeral Home. The pallbearers were: J. A.
