GILVIN OBITUARIES, Henry County, Missouri ==================================================================== GILVIN, Zeta Mae MICHAEL 1940 - 1994 Mrs. Zeta Mae Gilvin of Creighton was born December 23, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Byron Dale and Bessie Edith (Smith) Michael. She departed this life Friday, August 26, 1994, near Urich, at the age of 53 years, eight months and three days. She was united in marriage to Charles Lee Gilvin on March 3, 1966, in Kingsville, Texas. She was a registered nurse at the golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, since 1974. Earlier she was the school nurse for Cass R-8 School District, Creighton, from 1970 until 1972. She was a 1962 graduate of the St. Luke's School of Nursing. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Creighton, the Association Operating Room Nurses and St. Luke's Alumni. She had lived in Kansas City before moving to Creighton in 1970. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her husband, Charles L. Gilvin of the home; two sons, Joe Gilvin and Michael L. Gilvin, both of Creighton; her father, Byron Michael, Newton; five brothers, Cecil Michael, Milan, Kenneth Michael, Newtown, Richard Michael, Latour, Nelson Michael, Unionville, Ted Michael, Clarksburg; a sister, Ruth Hines, Milan; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 30, at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, with Pastor Pam Morrison officiating. Burial was Wednesday, August 31, at the Bairdstown Cemetery, near Milan, under the direction of Dickey Funeral Home with Rev. Sid Robbins officiating. Judi Johnson sang Friends.
